Yes, the Canuncks died a horrible death in the playoffs! :-(
On the good news front, Mozilla 1.4
(release candicate 1) is out and as solid as usual! Grab yours
today. Some nice new things is the option to not install the mail
client (if you don't need it... which I use and love with it's funky
spam filtering!).
CTV News no longer has their live video feed
(very sad) of it's 24hr news network.. but you can get the audio now
which is better than nothing!

Well... the releases just keep on coming. As I mentioned earlier, Mozilla 1.3 is out now.. and, right on it's heals, it's Mozilla 1.4 Alpha (better Composer and more Spam tools). I'm running 1.4a at the moment and it's incredibly stable! Go ahead... give it a try!
And, of course, the canucks a now in the playoffs! WOO HOO. Now, if I could only actually watch the games! :-(

Turns out Ad-aware isn't gone
after all. Oops! They were just moving their website.. or
something like that!

OK.
Sorry.
I keep trying the new Blogging option in Mozilla but can't get it to
work properly...yet! Oh the fun of software testing.
So.... got any spyware on your computer? Good old "Ad-Aware"
seems to have ground to a halt... so it's time to recommend a new
system searcher to get rid of those nasties...
Thankfully there is another kid on the the block... albeit German... Spybot. Also looks for list of
things that might be used to "track" you (like "recent" folders) and
places them in a secure place (I don't bother myself). Looks like
a winner.
